have been covering events such as this for over 25 years.
Some, getting deeply involved in aspects of the planning and
function of events such as striped bass derby’s, catfish derby’s,
fund raisers.... you name it, I have been there on the Hudson
River.
River Day at the Croton Yacht Club on September 8, 2018
reached a nirvana of success that few could imagine. Maybe
it is just a club, “coming of age” maybe it is the ten years
experience, that Dennis Kooney, and volunteers have acquired,
but, for whatever the reasons, it was an experience that will be
remembered for a long time to come.
The weather was cloudy an cool. The many residents of Croton
On Hudson, the yacht club and strangers were, very impressed
by the displays, volunteers, and especially the Croton Yacht Club
grounds and facilities.
