rips on the canal system can be a lot of fun, especially this

year when celebrations are planned to commemorate the 100th

anniversary of the modern Canal System (1918-2018). There are

festivals galore all year long, plus great accommodations for your

boat, (or your family if you wish to get off the boat for a day or two),

fine dining, quick meals and ice cream, recreation venues, and

more. The key to finding any/all of the above is to obtain advice

and information from the locals who know their area best and are

eager to share their insight with visitors!
